Ramadan Circle #3: Racing Towards Forgiveness

Description

RAMADAN CIRCLE FINALEEE IS THIS SATURDAY!

Forgiveness is probably the hardest thing we can ever do. Just to utter the word, "I'm Sorry", really takes up the energy and willpower. Because we are afraid of rejections, and self unworthiness if the other person refuse to accept our apology.

However, it's different with Allah. I think we can all agree we're the most guilty to Him. We break the most promises with Him. And yet, He said that if our sins cover the entire heavens and earth, and if we ask for forgiveness, He will forgive.

So this talk is about how do we ask forgiveness from Allah - in terms of having the right mindset, and the right practical approach.

And then, we go another step - how do we forgive others that have wronged us? that have backstabbed us? that have ruined our past, presents and future? how do we let go of the grudges? How do we have a forgiving heart?

So, we're bringing you Shaykh Tawfique Chowdhury this Saturday to talk about "Racing Towards Forgiveness"!

Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon/forgive (all) men;- for Allah SWT loves those who do good;"
